INTR 2015 – Social Networks

Course Description: With the growing popularity of social networks, the importance of building a consistent social architecture is vital to the success of brands and corporations. Brands often struggle with the control they are giving up in the social world. This course will examine and classify various social networks. Students will review and use a variety of social networks to understand and evolve perspectives on the role social plays. In this course, students will learn how to manage their brand on social media and how to create a social media strategy and thoroughly analyse its efficacy. Through lecture, discussions, and case studies, students will learn various frameworks towards an optimal social media strategy in a specific industry.
