In April of 2015, the City of Surrey requested 100 new RCMP officers to combat this problem.Can the Minister of Public Safety please update the House on the progress of putting those 100 new RCMP officers into action?

Mr. Speaker, the removal of the unjustified steel and aluminum tariffs and the introduction of the NAFTA bill by the Prime Minister is great news for Canadians and great news for small business.Could the Minister of Small Business and Export Promotion tell us what the ratification of the new NAFTA means for small business in Canada?

Mr. Speaker, yesterday our government laid out the next steps in our plan to invest in families and to support the middle class and those working hard to join it.A key part of the budget is new measures to make housing more affordable. Could the Prime Minister update the House on what we are doing to help Canadians find an affordable place to call home?

Mr. Speaker, there have been recent media reports that IRCC may consider eliminating a pathway to permanent residency for caregivers. These reports are worrying those who are providing service to our seniors and children with medical needs. Can the minister please reassure this House and caregivers of our government's position when it comes to a pathway to permanent residency for caregivers?

Mr. Speaker, we are seeing the growth of a strong economy and the creation of jobs across the country. However, there is still more work to do. In my riding of Surrey—Newton, I am pleased that our government is supporting organizations, such as DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society, to help at-risk youth get the support they need to find and keep good jobs.Could the minister update the House on actions taken to ensure that everyone, including at-risk youth, have the chance to participate in our growing economy?

Mr. Speaker, the signing of CETA between Canada and the European Union is a historic moment. CETA will provide Canada with access to the EU's more than 500-million consumers. Canadians stand to benefit significantly by increased access to this 28-country market, which generates $20 trillion in annual economic activity.Can the minister update the House on how she intends to move forward with this ambitious and progressive agreement?

BI Pure Water, a Surrey-based business that focuses on clean tech, was part of the trade mission led by the Minister of International Trade to India earlier this month. This would mean the largest private sector investment in Canadian history and great news for British Columbians and all Canadians, who will benefit from jobs and investment.
